There’s something magical about exploring the Langhe on a crisp Saturday, especially when it involves seeking out the heart and soul of Barolo through its small, family-run wineries. This past weekend, I had the immense pleasure of visiting three such estates, each offering a unique perspective on the King of Wines.

On the way into Barolo from here it is well worth stopping you will see it on your left a beautifully coloured Ciabot, you can walk into the vines this being the most prestigious parcel of land Cannubi. The Cannubi path it is open inviting anyone who is interested to explore the link between art, wine and vine. It is truly remarkable that this most precious of land is open to you to explore. I highly recommend a visit before heading into the town itself.
