Living in Piemonte for 15 years has given me a perspective few outsiders ever see. I am an AIS-certified Sommelier, but my true education happened over many years in the small, family-run cantinas of this region. Every bottle in the Somm Ariella Collection comes from a producer I know personally.
I choose the wines that the winemakers keep for their own tables. I created this club to bring these authentic, hard-to-find treasures directly to you—no middlemen, no mass-market fillers, just pure Italian heritage.
When you order Reserve your favourites from the upcoming shipment before they leave Italy. You can choose all new wines or mix them with wines you already ordered from the collection. You can also leave the Sommelier to curate your collection. Each time the collection will be checked against your previous choices and preferences, you can also ask for specific wines if you wish I will always try to personalize your collection. Each delivery will be 24 bottles.
The Somm Ariella Events will be hosting intimate gatherings to preview the wines I will introduce you to.
- Experience: A guided flight of 5 boutique wines, led by an AIS Sommelier. This will be a sensory analysis we will do together and each event will be themed, each one different. The wine will be accompanied by freshly prepared small plates to help you enjoy the wine and give you inspiration for your own pairings.
- The Story: Behind-the-scenes access to the small producers and family cellars I call my friends., you will have insight into their process and future plans. In addition wines to save or wines to drink now will be indicated
- The Privilege: Reserve your favourites from the upcoming shipment before they leave Italy. One key component of this event is I will be personally noting your palate preferences for future selections. Limited numbers will apply friends are welcome, booking is essential;
